Preparing Young People for the Future of Work
Standard Chartered Mentoring Series
We are proud to partner with Standard Chartered, in collaboration with the National Youth Council (NYC) under the Singapore Youth Plan, to deliver a four-part flash mentoring series engaging around 600 Standard Chartered professionals with youth and students.
Through targeted mentoring conversations, the series connects young people with industry professionals to build future-ready skills, confidence, employability and career awareness.
The four sessions cover:
- Future Ready – Helping youth and young adults navigate the future of work and career possibilities.
- Team Dynamics & Effectiveness – In collaboration with Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), exploring effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Confidence, Employability & Career Pathways – In collaboration with ITE College East, supporting students in building confidence and exploring career pathways.
- Future-Focused Mentoring – Engaging youth and young adults in conversations around an emerging topic relevant to their future.
The series demonstrates how corporate expertise can be mobilised at scale to create meaningful career exposure and mentoring opportunities for young people.
Target Audience
This programme is open to students from Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), with a particular focus on final-year students who are preparing to take their first steps into the working world.
